Garmin GPS
My husband and I recently purchased a Garmin GPS before going on a long distance trip to see my family in Michigan. At first, I was a little apprehensive of the Garmin GPS. I was concerned about the price as well as confused about the entire Garmin GPS system. But, for the trip’s sake, I was willing to be open minded about the concept of GPS.
A few days before making our purchase, my husband went online and researched different models and price ranges of the Garmin GPS. To be honest, I was surprised at how affordable they were. I was also impressed at how simple the GPS is to use.
We fired up our Garmin GPS as soon as we received it and went through the basic setup steps. Before I knew it, we were typing in our first address and on our way to our destination. It took a few minutes to get used to the voice that was instructing us and I had to try very hard to keep my eyes on the road and not on the GPS screen. But, once I got used to it (which didn’t take very long) it was almost as if I had always had a Garmin GPS.
Since we’ve been on our trip, my husband and I have used our Garmin GPS on plenty of other occasions, especially in areas of the city we’re not too used to. At this point, I am glad that we had got our GPS and I don’t think I could live without it now.
