If you would have asked me two years ago what my favorite piece of electronic equipment was, I would probably say the computer. Granted, I still love the computer and how it intertwines our worlds so closely with the Internet, but now my favorite piece of electronic equipment is my Garmin GPS. I know, most of you are probably thinking that I'm using a Garmin GPS to keep me from getting lost when I'm out driving around from point A to B.  While Garmin GPS are great for that sort of thing, this GPS does all that and a whole lot more.

About a year and a half ago I decided it was time to change my life and I started exercising. Somewhere during that time, I decided to take up biking and I was never sure how far I rode or how many calories I was burning. I remember mentioning it to a friend of mine who is a personal trainer and he said that I needed a Garmin GPS. I remember thinking that he obviously wasn't paying attention to what I said. Before I could say anything to him about it, he said that it wasn't your ordinary Garmin GPS, but that it was specially made for biking and would be perfect to keep up with my maximum heart rate, calories burned, and the distance that I've traveled. I know that I've done the work myself, but I accredit the Garmin GPS for making things much easier in my journey.
