They have 140 watts per speaker and will plug into our computer which is the core of the home theater system. We switched from cable TV to Internet TV this summer and don't regret it one bit. We simply hook up a laptop computer to our HD TV and hop online to the websites we want to watch and go from there. It seemed to make sense to get Internet TV because it costs far less than cable TV and we can watch thousands of movies at the drop of a hat. The new TV technology gives us many options for our home theater system, and I know that these speakers will be a big hit with the family. Our home theater system has saved us a bundle of money on entertainment, so spending a little on getting top notch speakers is reasonable.
