projection televisions, lcd hdtvA few years ago my husband and I toyed with the idea of projection televisions because we both love movies and thought that if we had one it would be very much like having a cinema in our living room. However in the end we opted for an LCD HDTV instead. It is not that we went off the idea of projection televisions. Instead we decided we would wait and peruse the selection of projection televisions later on when our grandchildren are a bit older.
We realized that if we made the purchase while the grandkids are still young and living in the upper portion of our house they would soon drive us mad by standing in front of the projection television. Knowing the grandkids as we do we figured they would do this both accidentally because they can’t keep still and on purpose to gawp at the effect.  
In a way I am rather envious of those couples who have no kids at home so they can enjoy the benefits that projection televisions offer without interruption. However I’m also blessed to have children around and so I’m more than prepared to wait until they are a bit older for mine.
