I’ve been hearing people talk about having an out of body experience. I’ve never really had one, but the one thing I think makes me comes close to it is my home theater system. The moment I turn my home theater system on I instantly become transported somewhere else, maybe into space or even to a land that does not even exist, but one thing that it’s true is that my home theater system makes me feel like I am actually there. Think about the last time you saw a movie in a really awesome home theater system. I guarantee that you became so engrossed in the sights and sounds the home theater system was providing that you forgot where your body was in space and time and just experienced wherever your senses were taking you. I think this is what makes home theater system and projection televisions so addictive. I mean, for a couple of hours your life can be whatever you want it to be and your problems can be something that don’t even exits in the present. I don’t care who you are, we all, at some point or another, need a little escape from reality and with a nice home theater system at home this can be done easily and in privacy if desired. And did I tell you I love my home theater system?
