Discovering New Eateries with a Garmin GPS |

For the past 6 months there has been some serious roadwork going on nearby. The city is building a couple new entrances ramps to the freeway while widening the neighboring roads. What this means for me is finding alternate routes to get to places. Thankfully the Garmin GPS always has me covered. The other day I was headed out to hit some golf balls when I came to a bunch of red taillights. Up ahead I saw construction on the power lines next to the street and a road closed sign. A construction worker was directing traffic to the right when I had to go straight.
Luckily I programmed the driving range’s address into the Garmin GPS so the detour was a simple to navigate. On the detour though I saw an Italian grocer and deli. It looked like more of a place to eat then a place to shop. Probably had some of the essential cooking products imported from Italy. I am a huge fan of these kinds of places for the sandwiches. Italian delis always have the best meats. Thanks to the detour and my Garmin GPS I got the driving range without a hitch and found a new spot to try some lunch. Life has been much easier on the road with a Garmin GPS.
