Game Day Plot and Projection Televisions |

A few nights ago my husband and I went to eat at his favorite restaurant, which has several projection televisions hanging on the walls. I say it is his favorite restaurant because while I do love the food, I have a difficult time enjoying it because there are usually so many people inside the restaurant. It seems like when its game night, the entire town turns out to watch the game on the projection televisions, and we all know how loud cheering fans can be. I kind of had a suspicion that there was a game on when my husband suggested that we go to this restaurant with the projection televisions, and sure enough when we walked in we were greeted by three of his best friends who also happened to be there for dinner. Their wives were sitting in the corner listening to the guy’s ooh and ahh over how great and realistic the projection televisions are. It didn’t take us long to figure out that this was no chance meeting, that the guys had this planned all along, probably for weeks. We decided to leave the guys to the game and the projection televisions and headed back to our house for coffee and girl chat where things were much quieter. |
