Ever since the day my son began playing high school football I have taken photos to preserve the memories. In fact, I have taken hundreds of digital pictures over the last four years. However, it was all about to come to an abrupt halt when my eight year old Canon digital camera stopped working. I changed the battery, but it still wouldn't turn on. There were three games left and I was left without my trusty Canon digital camera.

The pictures that were already taken I have been putting together into a sort of video montage of his entire high school career. There were pictures of games, practices, and special events like homecoming included and all set to his favorite songs over the years. However, the video was not complete. I still had three games left with a championship game a large possibility. What to do?

A few minutes of looking and I found a good Canon digital camera that I was been wanting for a few years, but could never afford.

The Canon digital camera was the Canon EOS Rebel XS Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS Lens - Black. It has tremendous picture taking ability and was 10 megapixel. My old Canon digital camera was only 8 megapixel so the pictures would now be much better. I placed my order for the Canon digital camera through Love's Electronics and ordered the rush delivery. My son had a game coming up and I wanted to make sure I was able to capture it on film.

The Canon digital camera arrived on time and it was a breeze to figure out. When game time came around I was armed and ready. I took several great shots of my son on the field, and even one of him celebrating a touchdown! The last three games came and went and then they lost in the championship game. However, I finished the video I was putting together and it is one of the first times I saw both my son and my husband cry at the same time. I think he has since watched the video dozens of times and it always leads to hugs. I love my Canon digital camera.
