Garmin GPS
This weekend my husband and I are going on a scavenger hunt with the use of our Garmin GPS. A local group of GPS enthusiasts get together every once in a while for an evening of fun and games, and my husband and I decided what better way to put our new Garmin GPS to the test than getting together with a group for a scavenger hunt.
Our friends, who told us about this particular group said that there is fun to be had by everyone, and that the scavenger hunt requires us to use the Garmin GPS to find particular items, which we are to take a photo of with our camera phone or digital camera, and continue on the next place. So that no one can cheat, each scavenger hunt location that we find with our Garmin GPS gives us the next location that we have to find.
If the idea of the scavenger hunt alone weren’t exciting enough, the winners of the scavenger hunt will get a weekend away a resort in a nearby city, along with a class on getting the most out of your Garmin GPS. We may be new to the game, but we’re going to give these pros a run for their money.
