My father travels a lot and he is that prototypical father who always has to stop and ask for directions, or is found pulled over to the side of the road pouring over obsolete paper maps, trying to find out where he is going, and where his present location is. So if you guessed that this was the main reason behind my siblings and I going in together on a really great Garmin GPS navigation system for our father over the holidays, you are entirely correct. We all gathered over at my brother David’s house to hand out some pre-Xmas gifts on Xmas Eve. I couldn’t wait any longer and decided to give dad his really big present – the Garmin GPS navigation system that we all got him. We also made sure to get him a Garmin GPS navigation system mount for his car, so that he could easily install the system after getting back home. I have talked to my dad a few times since he got the Garmin GPS navigation system, asking him how he likes it. In so many words: dad couldn’t be any happier with his present!
