Today as I was dusting, I noticed that the LCD HDTV screen needs cleaning, so I got out the instructions for the book and it appears that the safest way to clean it is with special LCD HDTV cleaner kits. We're watching the football playoffs this weekend and so I got online and found a LCD HDTV cleaning kit and ordered it. It will be here in time for the Super Bowl, our big party for the month of February. The one I found works on both plasma and LCD HDTVs so it's pretty versatile. I can also use it on all the LCD computer screens we have, too. The product I chose is the Tritton LCD/Plasma Wizard Cleaning Kit and it should last quite a while.

I tried cleaning one of my LCD computer monitors with wipes and I think they were too old and I couldn't get the little smear off on it and have learned to live with it while I work. I'll be really glad when this cleaning kit comes and I can get the dust and specs off our LCD HDTV. It seldom rains in Arizona so dust tends to collect on everything. We also have two cats in the house so cat hair is all over, but since the LCD HDTVs don't get as hot and build up a charge as much as the CRTs did, the cat hair is not much of an issue as it was with the old style televisions.

We use our online Internet subscription to watch movies on demand and sometimes we venture out to the library and get some new releases and documentaries. And this afternoon, we'll be watching the football games hoping our favorite team wins. While the commercials are on, I'll be browsing online for recipes to cook for our big Super Bowl party; it's a day long tradition at our house to eat with abandon on Super Bowl Sunday, so I'm looking for low calorie healthy recipes that are strong on flavor that will make the big day even more fun.
