I have many uses, I have found, that my awesome widescreen flat panel LCD HDTV has really come in handy for. Namely, the widescreen flat panel LCD HDTV that I have in my living room – which is mounted to the wall – is awesome for watching my favorite movies on, and the clarity, the brilliance of the contrast ratio and the way that the movies just come to life are all top reasons as to why I bought the widescreen flat panel LCD HDTV online in the first place. I Ordered a Small Screened LCD HDTV For the Cabin

In a few weeks the cabin that my husband and son have been building for the past two years will be complete. It has always been our dream to own a rustic cabin in the mountains and I was thrilled two years ago when my husband and son finally got the ball rolling. I have been buying little things for the cabin here and there to decorate each room, but the one thing we all agree on is that we want at least one LCD HDTV for the cabin. Since most of us won't be spending much time inside the cabin, we decided that we would start out with one LCD HDTV and then if we found that it was not enough, then we could always add another LCD HDTV the following year. My husband and I both agreed that it seemed pointless to invest in more than one TV when we may not even use the one we have that often.

While I was shopping for an LCD HDTV I decided to go with a smaller screened version. Last time I went to visit my best friend or rather his LCD HDTV, we were watching a show about hot dogs and after thirty minutes we were begging his Garmin GPS to get us to the tastiest hot dog in town. There is no comparison between the power of the home theater system sitting in my living room compared to my car’s setup but the small coupe design does make for a better soundstage. Two door cars are really the best acoustic design for ultra crisp music. The humped aluminum roof, proximity of door and rear speakers and nearby trunk sub creates the perfect stew of musical magic. Apart from my Garmin GPS, the upgraded audio setup in my car has been the best mobile investment I ever made online.

Just recently, I got a small 10 inch sub with amp from a buddy who just sold his car. Instead of trying to sell this equipment in the classifieds, he cut me a great deal and saved the legwork. With this bass heavy addition, I have really created a moving home theater system. The thing I have been careful to watch for after adding the sub is trunk rattle.

I was sitting on the corner next to a four way stop sign in the parking lot. The beat up car, windows down was pumping hardcore, offensive rap lyrics through the window, which was bad enough. To make matters worse his trunk was rattling harder then a 1939 prop plane. I never want this to be me. In The Front Row With A Projection Television

My dad and I are already getting excited about the coming baseball season, but he is showing his excitement in a big way with a new projection television. A while back, the whole family got together at my uncle’s house and he had a pristine projection television in his entertainment room which my father proceeded to fall completely in love with like a high school kid with a new crush. Then the brilliant idea of having his own projection television in his house popped into his head as if by providence and the rest is history. Let me tell you, if my dad’s new projection television is as good as my uncle’s we are going to have a special experience watching all those baseball games on his new baby. I told him that the action was going to look so crisp and sharp that it was going to fee like we were in one of the front rows in every ballpark in the nation and that’s the real beauty of my dad’s projection television. With the full access baseball package, he has no idea I bought for him, in conjunction with the projection television, we can and will be in the front row of every single baseball park during the season--try to beat that!

The Most Valuable Home Theater System Upgrade

It is another evening after a long day at work. The smell of chicken teriyaki was still resonating out of the kitchen as I lay back on the couch, shoes off. Grabbing the home theater system remote, I close my eyes. This is the best part of the day, I think to myself as Buddy Guy starts to strum away alongside Eric Clapton in fantastic version of Sweet Home Chicago. My mind wanders to what it must have felt like to see this performance live. The smell of cigarette smoke would have wafted right past my senses as these two blues greats magnificently show exactly what is possible on an electric guitar. The raspy sound of Buddy Guy plateaus over the home theater system before they each break into a solo, heard at the 2:35 minute mark in the video below.

All of the stress of battling commuter traffic and stuff left at the office is miles away. This is how I unwind. The home theater system has been my greatest asset in tuning out everything except for the music. Eyes still closed I blindly turn the home theater system volume up as the solo continues to get better. After the song starts to come to a close, I decide seeing either of these two guitar greats is on my bucket list. The melody of the song fades out as the claps from the live performance fade into another song. In the seconds of silence, I wonder what can make my home theater system better.

I don’t want to spend too much money on something like a new receiver. My eyes open and I start messing with the equalizer settings. This is the quickest and cheapest home theater system fix. Then I notice the glimmer of copper wire following the left speaker to its stand. I could do with some thicker speaker wire.

Capturing Love for the Road with a Canon Digital Camera

I’m sitting on my computer blankly staring at the screen when my phone rings. It’s an unrecognized number. Answering, the familiar voice of a friend who just got a new number comes over the line. He is really excited for a couple reasons. The first is he found the perfect new car to replace his old one that kicked the bucket. The second is he just got the ingenious idea to take this new cross car cross country in a month long road trip to Mount Rushmore. He asks if I’m in. Silent for a second, my answer is not what he is looking for.

I tell him I can’t take work off for that long. He tries to sell me on the adventure. All the pictures we could collect with a Canon digital camera. As tempting as it sounds to see the country behind the direction of a Garmin GPS, it doesn’t seem fiscally responsible. Man, I sound old just saying that. My Canon digital camera has been aching for some new photos. I suggest taking a shorter maybe week long trip. He gives me an, awww man but agrees its better then nothing.

Authentic Japanese Cuisine Discovered with Garmin GPS

After scrolling through the closest Japanese restaurants popping up on my Garmin GPS, I choose one I’ve never been to before. As the Garmin GPS reeled off orders to turn right, stay left and exit in two miles, I got to the front door of a place more authentic then I expected. The menu was in Japanese and sweet imported rolls sat in baskets next to the counter for people looking for foods straight from Japan. They had everything from bubble tea to teriyaki chicken. What made this place unique was what lay behind the five-foot barrier behind the table booths.

Along with Japanese food, they had shelves and shelves of anime. Thousands of the most popular anime matched with posters, couches and computers to use the internet. A sign read, “3 dollar a year anime library membership. 20% off food with membership. 3 dollars an hour for internet and library.” I don’t know much about anime but the food was good and it was very cool to look at all the colorful, balloon shaped cartoons adorning the stacks of comic book literature. My Garmin GPS struck a homerun finding this place.

I am sure that we all know somebody in our lives who loves using their Canon digital camera to take photos all of the time. Garmin GPS Provides Much Faster Way To Travel

At least faster for me anyway! My husband likes to tease me a lot about my navigation skills. I have to admit that I wish I had a Garmin GPS when we first got married. It would have saved us a lot of aggravation and time. Especially on our first anniversary. I had always wanted to see Yellowstone National Park. As we talked about what were would do for our first anniversary, I brought up a trip to Yellowstone. He was excited about the idea until I said we could take our time and drive there. I thought it would be nice to see some of the US and just be together on the road. A lot of our friends told us to get a Garmin GPS, but I didn't think we needed to.

The trip was full of fun and adventure all right. When ever it was my turn to drive I took so many wrong turns, bad roads, and drove hundreds of miles out of our way that we could have gone back and forth through the country several times! Looking back on our little, turned large, trip a Garmin GPS would have been very helpful. Last month we had our fifth anniversary. I wanted to do something extra special so I decided to rent an RV and take a three week trip around the country. When I brought it up to my husband he said it was great, but then headed to the computer. I was a little confused so I asked what he was doing. "Buying you a Garmin GPS!" I think I must have turned sixteen shades of red.

He started his search online and one of the results was for a website called Love's Electronics. Our trip was much faster and much less stressful.

My father travels a lot and he is that prototypical father who always has to stop and ask for directions, or is found pulled over to the side of the road pouring over obsolete paper maps, trying to find out where he is going, and where his present location is. So if you guessed that this was the main reason behind my siblings and I going in together on a really great Garmin GPS navigation system for our father over the holidays, you are entirely correct. We all gathered over at my brother David’s house to hand out some pre-Xmas gifts on Xmas Eve. I couldn’t wait any longer and decided to give dad his really big present – the Garmin GPS navigation system that we all got him. We also made sure to get him a Garmin GPS navigation system mount for his car, so that he could easily install the system after getting back home. I have talked to my dad a few times since he got the Garmin GPS navigation system, asking him how he likes it. In so many words: dad couldn’t be any happier with his present!

A projection television set-up requires a room large enough to take advantage of the large projection television screen. These are basically two part TV systems with the large projection television screen mounted on a wall and the projector is normally mounted on the back wall or from the ceiling. the older style of projection television used a big screen with the projector behind the large screen. It is critical the room be large enough for the TV viewer's to sit at least fifteen feet from the screen as the normal size of the screen is at least eight inches wide and can be well over one hundred inches wide for the large ones. Sitting to close is going to blur the image being projected, plus this is not good for the eyes. For really fancy projection television rooms there are cinema style seating options available online. To do a full blown room with a TV and sitting set-up like this will cost a few thousand bucks but for entertaining and family fun these are worth the extra money.

Movies on Home Theater System

My family has watched a bunch of movies on the home theater system in the past few days due to stormy weather. We have experienced a big winter storm that brought a lot of rain and some pretty hefty winds. Our home came through it unscathed but there was damage around the neighborhood. Our neighbors to the right lost a big tree in their front yard and another neighbor got some water through a leak in their roof.

The storm prevented us from going outdoors for two days. We took big time advantage of our home theater system during those forty-eight hours. I don't think the home theater system has seen that kind of action since we got it. We watched movies that we had seen several times before and recited the lines together. We watched new movies that Santa had brought and we even played some video games. Talk about some quality family time.

Today the sun is shining and the kids are playing in the yard although the grass is still a little moist. My husband is on the back porch making some kind of woodworking project. I can smell the sawdust inside the house. I am tiding up the home theater system and room. The news is predicting round two of this winter storm later on this evening. We will be ready for it!

Ordered Great Cleaning Kit for LCD HDTVs Today

We love our home theater system and want it to last a long time. Today as I was dusting, I noticed that the LCD HDTV screen needs cleaning, so I got out the instructions for the book and it appears that the safest way to clean it is with special LCD HDTV cleaner kits. We're watching the football playoffs this weekend and so I got online and found a LCD HDTV cleaning kit and ordered it. It will be here in time for the Super Bowl, our big party for the month of February. The one I found works on both plasma and LCD HDTVs so it's pretty versatile. I can also use it on all the LCD computer screens we have, too. The product I chose is the Tritton LCD/Plasma Wizard Cleaning Kit and it should last quite a while.

I tried cleaning one of my LCD computer monitors with wipes and I think they were too old and I couldn't get the little smear off on it and have learned to live with it while I work. I'll be really glad when this cleaning kit comes and I can get the dust and specs off our LCD HDTV. It seldom rains in Arizona so dust tends to collect on everything. We also have two cats in the house so cat hair is all over, but since the LCD HDTVs don't get as hot and build up a charge as much as the CRTs did, the cat hair is not much of an issue as it was with the old style televisions.

If you have a great home theater system, then you probably already know that it serves not only to function as a means to watch and enjoy your favorite movies, but that you can use the home theater system speakers to enjoying listening to your favorite songs as well. There are some days, like today, where I have had the longest week ever and I want to do nothing more than curl up on the couch in the living room with my wife, and listen to my favorite music while talking about our week using my home theater system speakers. If We Had No LCD HDTV I'm Not Sure My Husband Would Ever Relax

This may sound like a strange thing to say but if there were no LCD HDTV sets in my house then I am not sure my husband would ever relax when he isn’t actually sleeping. When I want to relax I might read a book. My husband likes reading too but when he tries to read it makes him fall asleep because he works hard and gets exhausted. My husband does not seem to stop working from getting up until he goes to bed apart from the time we spend watching a movie on one of our LCD HDTV sets each evening. That is why we try to make sure that we have a very good movie to watch every night. Chilling out with a movie on our LCD HDTV is my husband’s way of eliminating the stress from his day and forgetting about work. This helps him to unwind so that his body and brain are tired enough to go to sleep. I have a feeling that if we did not watch a movie on our LCD HDTV my husband’s mind would continue working overtime and then he would have to think of things to do. Hence he wouldn’t relax at all.

There are so many reasons why I think that everybody should really check into getting a quality home theater system for their living room. For me, I love using my home theater system for three different things: watching movies, playing video games and watching TV. However, from time to time I have also been known to crank up the home theater system when listening to my favorite musical artists so that my wife and I can really enjoy some time together; it also serves to offer great background music when we are sharing dimly lit, romantic meals together that are home cooked. Last night I rented a great movie called Year One—which is a new release starring comedian and singer Jack Black. My friends and I watched it on my home theater system, and this movie had us laughing our rear ends off because it was so funny. There were some pretty hilarious scenes and some great jokes in the script. Afterwards, we were all smiling while talking about the funniest parts of this silly film.

An LCD HDTV To Begin their New Life Together

In a few short months my son is getting married to the girl of his dreams. They have been dating for the past six years, the entire time that he's been in college, and now that he's finished and started a career in his field, he's asked her to marry him. We happen to love her, and I'm excited about them starting their new life together. Recently my son bought a house that he'll share with his new bride once they marry. It's a beautiful old home and he and my husband are in the process of remodeling everything since it's a little dated on the inside.

During the midst of our Christmas festivities, the guys turned on our LCD HDTV to watch one of the many football games that they watched over the holidays. My son commented that we could buy him and Andrea a LCD HDTV like the one we had in the living room as a wedding gift. I know he was joking about the LCD HDTV, but later that evening, I asked my husband what he thought about giving them an LCD HDTV similar to ours as a wedding gift and he thought the LCD HDTV was a good idea.

Our original plan was to give them money, and even if we bought them the LCD HDTV we would have money left over out of what we planned to give them to be able to do both, so I decided that's exactly what we'd do. I knew if we gave all the money to my son and daughter in law on their wedding day that they'd probably end up spending it on their honeymoon or maybe even use it to pay for the wedding, but wouldn’t get the LCD HDTV. This way, we knew that they would get the LCD HDTV that they wanted, plus they would have some cash to do with what they wanted. My husband and I both felt it was a win-win situation, so once all the holiday rush had passed; I got online to see if I could find an LCD HDTV that was similar to ours. I love my home theater system, and it has really served me very well over the past year since I bought my home theater system online for a great deal. The one thing that I have been noticing that is one of my favorite things about the New Year is that the NFL playoffs take place – which means that the TV in my living room and my home theater system will get plenty of usage. The New Year also marks the taking place of all of the biggest bowl games in the NCAA college football calendar, including the National Championship, and the Super Bowl for all of you NFL nuts, like me, out there. If you have a great home theater system like I do, then you can really take the action to the next level. I like to set my home theater system to the sports setting, which you can usually find as a preset level on most home theater systems. This way every hit, tackle and kick is really well heard, and the announcers’ voices don’t seem to overwhelm the action on the field!

I am going to LOVE watching the Orange Bowl on my LCD HDTV tonight!

Hey there all of you college football loving NCAA neophytes that are out there: I am sure that I don’t have to tell you all that the Orange Bowl game is on tonight, and I am sure that you already know that it pits two top ranked college teams, Iowa and Georgia, against each other, in what will be one heck of a showdown on my LCD HDTV in my living room. One thing that I can tell you is that if you are not watching the bowl games on an LCD HDTV in HD, then you are missing out big time. I used to watch the games on an old tube TV and I didn’t have HD, to say the least. About a year ago, this time last year actually, I finally made the decision to upgrade to an LCD HDTV and I have never been happier since. I even found out that my video game console was made for an LCD HDTV, and have been, since that time, enjoying playing all of my favorite titles, one of which is NCAA 2010 for the Xbox 360, on my smoking hot and high contrast LCD HDTV!
